Havoline Extra SAE 10W-40 is a high performance high ash and total base number (TBN) semi-synthetic passenger car engine lubricant, designed to meet the latest ACEA A3/B4 specifications and a range of critical engine manufacturers’ requirements.

- Fiat – 9.55535 G2/D2
- PSA – B71-2300
- Suitable for both diesel and gasoline passenger cars requiring the latest ACEA A3/B4 and A3/B3 requirements or API SN. Can also be used where oils are recommended meeting the former API SM/SL/SJ/SH/SG specifications
- Offers year-round use in high performance gasoline engines, passenger car and light van diesel engines. Suitable for use in severe operating conditions where extended drain intervals are specified by the manufacturers
- Recommended for gasoline engines under severe duty, including those incorporating leaner burn technology
- Recommended for diesel engines, including those with direct injection; with or without turbochargers. Not recommended for cars with diesel particulate filters (DPFs)
- Recommended for VW gasoline cars under severe duty and VW diesel cars without pump injectors and no DPF
